Explainers, not a portfolio. Each entry states the problem, the quantum approach, and the honest status of that approach in the field — not work I am doing. Badges reflect maturity in the literature: textbook means it is settled and provable, research means it works in simulation and is actively studied, exploratory means the case is still open.
How to judge a quantum-advantage claim
A useful habit when reading any paper on this page, or any press release citing one: formulate the problem, find the strongest classical baseline in the literature, then check the quantum result was compared against that rather than against a naive implementation. Most claimed advantages narrow sharply at this step, and a surprising number vanish entirely.
